My love for art began at an early age and continues even now. I love all landscapes, but in particular the Western vistas. My endeavors in art were put aside with the responsibilities of parenthood and with the demands of the business world. I am seriously pursing my art career now that I have retired from my business.
I have studied at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Richmond, Virginia. I have taken several extensive workshops through the Brazier Fine Art Gallery. My instructors were Loryn Brazier, Roger Dale Brown, Perry Austin, and Vicki McMurry.
These fine artists have been a tremendous influence on my artistic style.
